The posting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Provide AV and multimedia technical support for daily lessons, CCAs, national examinations, and major school functions.
  • Event Setup: Set up audio-visual systems, microphones, mixers, and visualizers in lecture rooms, concert halls, and meeting venues.
  • Live Streaming: Coordinate and execute high-quality live streaming and video-conferencing for school-wide virtual events.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct regular asset checks, handle equipment loans, and keep precise records of all AV repairs and servicing.
  • Procurement Advice: Work closely with the ICT Head of Department to source quotes, monitor expenses, and advise on hardware upgrades.
  • User Training: Conduct briefing and training sessions for school staff and Infocomm Club students on using specialized media studio systems.
  • Project Liaison: Assist school leaders in project managing vendor works commissioned for the school's concert hall or media hub.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Minimum of a Diploma or equivalent relevant certification.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of working experience as an AV support officer or equivalent in a Singapore school environment.
  • Concert Hall Experience: Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience handling the full spectrum of support for live performances in large concert halls.
  • Technical Skills: Competency in operating sound control panels, matrix switchers, projectors, microphones, and video-editing software.
  • Soft Skills: A strong team player with a positive attitude, clear communication skills, and the independence to meet tight event deadlines.

Working Hours & Commitment

  • Weekly Schedule: Capped at 42 hours per week (Mondays to Fridays).Mondays to Thursdays: 7:15 AM – 4:45 PM (inclusive of a 1-hour lunch break).Fridays: 7:15 AM – 4:15 PM (inclusive of a 1-hour lunch break).
