The Role As an Audit Senior, you will lead statutory audit engagements from planning to completion, supervise junior staff and serve as the main day-to-day contact for clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute and complete statutory and special-purpose audits in line with Singapore Standards on Auditing (SSAs)
- Lead and supervise audit teams on fieldwork, and review the work of associates
- Identify and assess audit risks, and design appropriate audit procedures
- Prepare financial statements and audit reports under SFRS(I) / SFRS for Small Entities
- Communicate findings, control weaknesses and recommendations to client management
- Manage engagement timelines and budgets, and keep managers and partners informed of key issues
- Coach and develop junior team members
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy or a professional qualification (ACCA, CA (Singapore), CPA or equivalent); progress towards full membership is a plus
- 2–4 years of external audit experience in a public accounting firm
- Sound knowledge of SFRS(I) and SSAs
- Experience leading audit fieldwork and supervising a small team
- Strong analytical, communication and time-management skills
