The posting

We are looking for an energetic, responsible and hands-on Baker & Bakery Operations Executive to join our team.

This is a hands-on role that combines baking and kitchen responsibilities with day-to-day bakery operations. You will be involved in preparing and producing our baked goods, maintaining quality and cleanliness, managing orders and ensuring that customer orders are properly prepared, packed and delivered on time.

The ideal candidate is organised, comfortable working independently, has a strong can-do attitude, and enjoys working in a fast-paced bakery environment.

Shift work is required, including evening/night shifts when needed.

Key Responsibilities

1. Baking & Food Preparation

  • Measure, prepare and mix ingredients according to established recipes and procedures.
  • Prepare and bake a range of products
  • Follow production schedules and ensure products are prepared according to required quantities and timelines.
  • Operate and maintain bakery equipment safely and correctly.
  • Prepare icings, fillings, toppings and decorations.
  • Ensure finished products meet our brand’s standards for quality, consistency, taste and appearance.

2. Order Management

  • Monitor incoming customer orders through our online store.
  • Review orders and plan production accordingly, including preparing ingredients and bakes ahead of time where required.
  • Ensure orders are accurately produced according to customer selections, quantities and special requirements.
  • Check orders before packing to ensure that the correct products and quantities are included.
  • Keep track of order status and ensure orders are ready for the required collection or delivery time.
  • Coordinate with the team on urgent, customised or last-minute orders where necessary.

3. Packing & Dispatch

  • Pack freshly baked products neatly and securely according to our brand’s packaging and presentation standards.
  • Label and organise orders clearly for collection or delivery.
  • Prepare delivery orders for dispatch and ensure they are ready on time.
  • Coordinate with delivery partners and arrange delivery collection through platforms such as Lalamove.
  • Track deliveries and follow up where necessary to ensure orders reach customers promptly.
  • Assist with managing customer pick-ups and handovers.

4. Bakery Operations

  • Assist with the smooth running of day-to-day bakery operations.
  • Monitor ingredient and packaging inventory and inform the team when supplies need to be replenished.
  • Assist with stock receiving, storage and proper rotation of ingredients.
  • Maintain accurate and organised work areas, storage areas and production areas.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties as required.
  • Use WhatsApp and relevant mobile apps to communicate with the team, delivery partners and customers when necessary.
  • Handle cashiering and customer interactions when required.

5. Cleaning, Hygiene & Food Safety

  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised kitchen and bakery environment at all times.
  • Clean and sanitise baking tools, equipment, work surfaces and other areas as required.
  • Follow proper food handling, storage and hygiene procedures.
  • Comply with Singapore food safety and workplace safety requirements.
  • Ensure all products are handled and stored appropriately to maintain freshness and quality.

Requirements & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of baking experience, preferably with experience in bread or bakery production.
  • Food Safety Course Level 1 certification is required.
  • Comfortable working with recipes and following detailed production procedures.
  • Good organisational and time-management skills.
  • Able to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.
  • Comfortable using Shopify and mobile apps, WhatsApp, Lalamove and other relevant delivery/order-management apps.
  • Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods and perform the physical tasks required in a bakery.
  • A positive can-do attitude and willingness to learn are essential.

Working Hours & Remuneration

5.5-day work week including weekends and selected public holidays

Flexible shift hours, including evening/night shifts when required (e.g. 5pm–11pm)

Bakery location: Opera Estate, East of Singapore (TEL Siglap Station or Green Line Bedok)

Salary: S$2,500 – S$3,000 per month, depending on experience and skills
