Behaviour Therapist (Early Intervention) – Littlefoot Developmental Services
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct 1:1 and small group therapy sessions across centre-based, school-based, and home-based settings, as assigned.
- Implement individualised intervention programmes based on ABA principles, under the supervision of a Case Supervisor.
- Use evidence-based teaching strategies (e.g., prompting, reinforcement, task analysis, visual supports) to support skill acquisition and positive behaviour.
- Support children in developing communication, social, adaptive, and school readiness skills aligned with Littlefoot’s curriculum.
- Collect accurate data during sessions and maintain clear, timely documentation of progress.
- Carry out school shadowing when required to support generalisation of skills in classroom settings.
- Collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure consistency and progress across environments.
- Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and ongoing training to support professional development and programme quality.
- Provide parent coaching and practical strategies to support carryover of skills at home.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology
- Prior experience working with children with autism and/or developmental needs is preferred.
- Passionate about early intervention, with a warm, patient, and child-centred approach.
- Energetic, creative, and engaging, with the ability to build rapport with young children.
- Strong communication skills in English; ability to communicate in Mandarin is an added advantage to support diverse families.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Willingness to learn, take feedback, and grow within a structured training environment.
