The Job
- Starts off as contract role at Raffles until 30th Apr 2027
GENERAL DESCRIPTION This role will be part of the Platform and Integration Office team, supporting the Group Wealth Platform (GWP) regional rollout programme for Private Banking. GWP is the Group's integrated wealth management platform covering client investment account opening, order management and pre-trade checks, wealth product processing, portfolio management, assisted and self-service channels, and downstream data and reporting. The GWP – Project Business Analyst will support the delivery of the platform across the region, spanning the full project lifecycle from initiation and business requirements through implementation, launch to business, and stabilisation into business-as-usual operations. Assignments will vary according to programme priorities and may cover markets at different stages of rollout. Acting as the business-side product owner for the assigned workstreams, the ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end business analysis – from requirement elicitation and target operating model design, through IT solution review and testing, to go-live readiness, user training and post go-live support. This position requires solid wealth product knowledge, proven project delivery experience in a banking environment, strong analytical and documentation skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and cross-location teams. The candidate is expected to demonstrate strong discipline in business analysis and documentation, and to be able to work well within a team and yet take initiative and ownership over his/her own area of work assignments or projects.
MAIN DUTIES • Provide general project management support across the assigned workstreams, including planning, milestone and deliverable tracking, dependency management, risk and issue logging, status reporting, and coordination of project activities across regional and local teams. • Elicit, analyse and document business requirements from front office, operations, finance, risk and compliance stakeholders, and translate them into a clear target operating model covering process, roles, controls and system usage. • Prepare and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRD), process flows, business rules and requirement traceability; secure formal business sign-off and manage subsequent changes through the project change control process. • Support and review IT system solutioning by working closely with IT business analysts, architects, vendors and delivery squads; review Functional Specification Documents (FSD) to confirm the solution meets business intent, and drive closure of requirement gaps, deviations and workarounds. • Support the business in establishing go-live operational readiness across people, process, data and platform – including operating procedure and SOP updates, user entitlement and access design, cutover and dress rehearsal participation, and readiness sign-off evidence. • Formulate UAT scope, test scenarios and test cases; drive UAT execution with end-users, manage defect triage, retest and closure, and coordinate business sign-off. • Prepare user training material and user guides, and deliver or support end-user and operations training ahead of go-live. • Provide post go-live and hypercare support, including issue triage, production defect coordination, adoption tracking, and handover of accepted gaps and enhancements into BAU and the ongoing platform backlog. • Support new market project initiation, including current-state discovery, product and regulatory gap analysis against the regional baseline, scope definition, effort and resource estimation, and preparation of initiation materials for governance forums. • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business units, technology teams, operations, compliance and legal; communicate progress, decisions and risks clearly to stakeholders at various levels of the organisation.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner or similar role delivering system implementation projects, preferably within the banking or financial services industry. • Solid wealth management product knowledge across investment products (e.g. bonds, mutual funds, FX, structured products), deposits and wealth financing, including trade lifecycle, booking, settlement and portfolio management concepts. • Hands-on project delivery experience covering the full lifecycle: requirement gathering, solution review, SIT/UAT, data migration, go-live readiness, training and post-implementation support. • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Confluence). • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, with strong documentation discipline and attention to detail. • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels across multiple locations. • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, multi-market project environment
