We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with exposure to Common Data Environments (CDE), construction digitalisation, information management, or built environment technology.
This role goes beyond traditional requirements gathering. You will work closely with business users, project teams, consultants, contractors, technology teams and vendors to improve how project, construction, asset and operational information is created, governed, exchanged and maintained throughout the asset lifecycle.
You will play a key role in translating complex operational processes and information management requirements into structured digital workflows and scalable technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and document end-to-end business and information processes across planning, design, construction, project delivery, handover, asset management and operations.
- Define and improve CDE workflows, information governance processes, roles, responsibilities and data ownership.
- Establish information management requirements including metadata, naming conventions, classification structures, approval workflows, retention rules and lifecycle processes.
- Translate business and operational requirements into clear user stories, functional requirements, acceptance criteria and workflow specifications.
- Facilitate workshops with business users, project teams, consultants, contractors, technical teams and vendors.
- Map current-state and future-state processes, identify process gaps, manual workarounds, duplicated activities and opportunities for digitalisation.
- Support backlog refinement, prioritisation, dependency management and delivery planning in Agile or product-based environments.
- Work closely with architects, developers, engineers and platform teams to validate solution feasibility, integrations and technical requirements.
- Support system testing, UAT, workflow validation, implementation and user adoption activities.
- Monitor implemented processes and identify opportunities to improve information quality, traceability, governance and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in Business Analysis, Information Management, Construction Digitalisation, Project Delivery, Asset Management or related areas.
- Experience working with Common Data Environment (CDE) processes, information workflows, governance models or digital delivery practices.
- Good understanding of how project and asset information is created, reviewed, approved, exchanged and handed over across different lifecycle stages.
- Strong experience in requirements gathering, process analysis and documentation.
- Able to develop process flows, swimlane diagrams, information flow maps, user stories, functional requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
- Good understanding of information governance, metadata, data ownership, data quality, auditability and traceability.
- Experience supporting Agile, Scrum, Kanban or product-oriented delivery environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Comfortable working across business, operations, construction and technology teams.
Advantageous Experience
- Familiarity with CDE, BIM or construction collaboration platforms, including solutions such as Autodesk, Nemetschek, LeapThought or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of ISO 19650 and Common Data Environment principles.
- Experience within construction, property development, facilities management, asset management or the broader built environment sector.
- Understanding of Building Information Modelling (BIM), digital engineering, document/model coordination and project-to-operations handover.
- Exposure to business process modelling, service design, data mapping or process improvement.
- Understanding of APIs, systems integration, master data, reporting or analytics.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence or SharePoint.
- Experience supporting enterprise digital transformation, governance or compliance initiatives.
