The posting

A System Analyst/Business Analyst evaluates and improves an organization’s IT systems by analyzing business requirements, identifying system and software needs, and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity. The role bridges the gap between business needs and technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze current IT systems and business models to identify areas for improvement.
  • Gather and document user and system requirements through consultations, interviews, and observations.
  • Develop functional specifications and system design documents.
  • Collaborate with software developers, project managers, and stakeholders to implement and integrate systems.
  • Conduct system testing and validation to ensure solutions meet business goals.
  • Provide technical support and training to users.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues post-implementation.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and propose innovative IT solutions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience as a System analyst/Application Consultant or in a similar IT role.
  • Strong PL/SQL and Oracle SQL skills
  • Level 1and Level 2 BAU support experience, including data investigation and root cause analysis
  • Business analysis capability across the end-to-end SDLC, covering requirements gathering, implementation of change requests and enhancements, facilitation of UAT and deployment, and the ability to work to agreed timelines
  • Strong understanding of IT service request management.
  • Proactive and independent in engaging stakeholders to achieve results.
