We are looking for Business Development Assistant Manager / Senior Executive to join our Growth Initiative team for both local and overseas markets. The role involves developing and implementing business development strategies to achieve revenue and market share growth in the ceiling fan business, identifying new market opportunities, and exploring innovative approaches to expand the market. You will build and nurture relationships with industry partners, distributors, suppliers, and key stakeholders to create strategic alliances, and actively network within the industry to stay updated on trends. Overseas travelling may be required.

Job Descriptions

  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve revenue and market share growth. Identify new market opportunities and explore innovative approaches to expand the ceiling fan business
  • Partnership Building: Build and nurture relationships with industry partners, distributors, suppliers, and key stakeholders to create strategic alliances. Identify and negotiate partnership opportunities that align with the company's objectives
  • Networking: Actively network within the industry and participate in relevant trade events, conferences, and forums
  • Sales Forecasting and Performance Analysis: Forecast sales targets and achieve sales goals. Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify customer needs, preferences, and emerging trends. Utilize market insights to drive product development and marketing strategies.
  • Competitor Intelligence: Monitor and analyze competitor activities, products, and market positioning to formulate competitive strategies. Stay informed about industry developments and competitive threats.
  • Product Testing and Compliance: Submit product testing and certification processes to ensure ceiling fans meet safety and quality standards, including compliance with Singapore safety marks for electrical products. Efficiently oversee the management and renewal of all safety marks certificates.
  • Intellectual Property (IP) Registration and Renewal: Assist in the registration and renewal of intellectual property rights, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights, to protect the company's innovations and brand.
  • Contract Management with Developers: Negotiate, draft, and manage contracts with property developers, government project, architects for the inclusion of ceiling fans in residential and commercial projects. Ensure contract compliance and timely execution.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, products development, and management team to effectively support sales efforts and drive business growth.
  • Quotations: Conduct thorough assessment of customers’ requirements and preferences to ensure quotations align with their specific needs, floor plan and design. Accurately calculating costs, pricing, and discounts, and preparing well-documented quotations that clearly outline products or services, terms, and pricing details for presentation to customers.
  • Site Visits: Conduct precise measurements and assessments of the designated area or space to determine the appropriate size and dimensions for the required objects or materials. Evaluate the existing conditions and layout to ensure compatibility with the desired size and colour schemes.

  • Capability to accurately calculate costs, pricing, and discounts
  • Capability to negotiate, draft, and manage contracts with property developers, government projects, and architects
  • Ability to collaborate with sales, product development, and management teams
  • Demonstrates a positive mindset and openness to learning new skills
  • Working Location: 1 Tampines North Drive 1, #04-18, T-Space, Singapore 528559
  • Working Hours: Mondays to Fridays, 8.30am to 5.30pm
  • May be required to attend work-related events outside normal working hours.
