Job Summary

The Business Development Executive accelerates business growth by developing high-value industry partnerships, identifying new market opportunities, and strengthening BELFOR’s reputation as a trusted advisor and leading provider of preventive and restoration solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with insurance companies, brokers, loss adjusters, claims managers, facility and property management companies, as well as commercial and industrial clients to strengthen BELFOR's market presence and generate new business opportunities.
  • Conduct regular client meetings, site visits, networking activities, and industry engagement initiatives to foster long-term partnerships and enhance BELFOR's brand awareness and reputation.
  • Target and develop business opportunities within key growth sectors, including semiconductor manufacturing, pharmaceuticals and life sciences, data centres, industrial manufacturing, industrial parks, and commercial properties
  • Maintain active engagement within the insurance ecosystem, including insurers, brokers, loss adjusters, and claims professionals, to generate referrals and strengthen BELFOR's industry network.
  • Prospect, qualify, and develop new business opportunities from facility and property management companies, industrial clients, commercial customers, and strategic partners.
  • Manage and track sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunity pipelines through the CRM system, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate reporting.
  • Understand customers' operational risks, business continuity requirements, and facility maintenance challenges to effectively position BELFOR's preventive and restoration solutions.
  • Drive sales conversion by proactively advancing opportunities through the sales cycle and collaborating with operational teams to develop tailored client solutions.
  • Partner with the Asia Marketing team to support industry events, customer seminars, technical presentations, partner engagement programmes, and facility visits.
  • Leverage BELFOR's marketing and sales resources, including case studies, technical brochures, customer success stories, and industry materials, to strengthen customer engagement and support business development activities.
  • Provide regular market intelligence on industry trends, customer requirements, competitor activities, and emerging business opportunities to support strategic planning and business growth initiatives.
  • Achieve individual business development objectives, revenue targets, and key performance indicators as established by management.

Training & Competencies

  • Tertiary / Certification in business management and sales & marketing training with emphasis on strategic planning and organizational growth
  • At least 5 years of experience in business development, technical services sales, or facilities-related industries
  • Excellent outgoing personality and networking ability to main steady flow of prospects and new business opportunities
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills - focus on building trusts
  • Experience working with facility management companies, industrial clients, or insurance ecosystem partners
