About NuSpace

NuSpace is a Singapore-headquartered company building satellite IoT connectivity and CubeSat hardware. Our mission is to connect every sensor, asset, and machine on Earth, including the places terrestrial networks never reach. Our NuLink connectivity service and CubeSat bus platform serve customers who need reliable data from remote and demanding environments. We are a small, engineering-led team entering a commercial growth phase, and we are hiring our first dedicated business development associate.

About the Role

You will work directly with our Chief Executive Officer to turn our technology into customer relationships. This is a commercial role, nota research role. You will spend most of your time on market research, outreach, and proposal support, and you will learn how a deep-tech company actually wins business. Sales cycles in this industry are long, so expect early wins to be small: a qualified lead, a well-received proposal, an insight that changes how we position a product.

What you will do:

  • Research markets: Analyse where satellite IoT and CubeSat hardware create the most value (for example agriculture, logistics, maritime, energy, and government) and recommend where we should focus.
  • Qualify leads: Handle inbound inquiries and outbound outreach, working out who the decision-maker is, what the customer needs, and whether it is a real opportunity.
  • Support proposals and bids: Help draft proposals, capability documents, and grant or tender submissions, working with our engineers to translate technical specs into customer language.
  • Maintain the pipeline: Keep our prospective customer lists accurate and give leadership a clear weekly view of opportunities and risks.
  • Feed customer insight back: Bring what customers say to our product and engineering team. Your notes will be used in roadmap discussions.

What your first 12 months look like

  • Months 1 to 3: Learn our products and customers, shadow leadership on calls and meetings, and create your own lead tracker and market research pack.
  • Months 4 to 6: Run lead qualification independently and draft proposals with review.
  • Months 7 to 12: Own a defined segment or account set, and take part in pricing and positioning discussions.
  • At 12 months: We review your scope, title, and compensation together, based on agreed goals set at the start.

Who You Are

  • You are a recent graduate (or within two years of graduating) in business, engineering, science, or a related field. Any discipline is fine if you can show the skills below.
  • You are curious about how technology becomes a product customers pay for. Interest in space is welcome, and we will teach you the rest.
  • You write clearly and can explain technical ideas to non-technical people, and business needs to engineers.
  • You take initiative, follow through, and treat rejection as information.
  • You are comfortable with ambiguity and with a small team where roles overlap.

Nice to have

  • Internship or project experience in sales, market research, or client-facing work.
  • Familiarity with creating a method to track prospective customers or proposal writing.
  • Startup or fast-paced team experience.

What We Offer

  • Real ownership: A small team means your work is visible and your input is used.
  • Structured mentorship: Regular one-to-ones with CEO and exposure to engineering, so you learn both the technology and the commercial side.
  • A defined growth path: A documented 12-month review and clear expectations for what the next role looks like.
  • A team that supports each other: We start you off at the deep end by having you identify unfamiliar concepts, then provide guidance to fill those gaps. The team is friendly, welcoming, and supportive throughout.

How to Apply

Send your resume and a short written note (no more than 300words) on what interests you about our business and one market you think we should pursue and why, to [email protected]. We review every application and will reply within 3 working days.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
