Position: Business Development Executive (Events)

We are looking for a Business Development Executive with proven experience in the events, exhibition, booth fabrication, event space, or experiential marketing industry.

You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, and driving sales. The ideal candidate understands how the events industry works, is comfortable speaking with brands, agencies, event organisers and corporate clients, and has a strong network within the industry.

Role Duties:

Business Development & Lead Generation

  • Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities within the events, exhibitions, corporate events, and experiential marketing sectors.
  • Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, industry events, LinkedIn, online platforms, and existing industry contacts.
  • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline and consistently identify new opportunities.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, event agencies, organisers, marketing teams, and other industry stakeholders.
  • Understand client objectives, budgets, timelines, and design requirements to recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Develop long-term client relationships to generate repeat business and referral.

Proposal & Project Pitching

  • Work closely with the design, production, and project teams to develop quotations, proposals, and presentations based on client briefs.
  • Present booth/event concepts, fabrication solutions, pricing, and value propositions to clients.
  • Follow up closely on proposals and convert opportunities into confirmed projects.

Negotiation & Closing

  • Negotiate pricing, scope, timelines, and commercial terms with clients.
  • Manage the sales process from initial enquiry and quotation through to closing.
  • Achieve and exceed individual sales and revenue targets.

Market & Industry Development

  • Keep up to date with upcoming exhibitions, trade shows, event venues, industry trends, and competitor activities.
  • Identify potential clients and upcoming events where our fabrication and event solutions can be offered.
  • Develop new market segments and sales opportunities.

Internal Coordination

  • Work closely with designers, project managers, production and installation teams to ensure client requirements are clearly communicated.
  • Ensure projects sold are commercially viable and aligned with production capabilities.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, quotations, sales activities, and revenue forecasts in the CRM.

Candidate profile:

  • 2–5 years of relevant Business Development / Sales experience in the events, exhibitions, booth fabrication, event production, experiential marketing, or related industry.
  • Strong understanding of the events/exhibition, from client brief and quotation through to fabrication, installation, and project completion.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Commercially driven, proactive, and confident in approaching new clients.
  • Able to understand client requirements and translate them into practical commercial solutions.
  • Results-Oriented with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales target
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
  • Willingness to travel within Singapore
