Job Purpose

We are seeking a proactive, self-driven, and results-oriented Business Development & Field Sales Executive to drive business expansion across industrial and commercial sectors. This position plays a critical role in establishing direct corporate touchpoints, cultivating strategic B2B partnerships, and generating steady sales channels through on-site consultation and outreach.

Key Responsibilities & Detailed Scope of Work

1. Lead Generation & Field Prospecting

  • Conduct structured daily field visits across commercial districts, industrial estates, design studios, and fabrication workshops.
  • Map out target key accounts, including Interior Design (ID) firms, main contractors, sub-contractors, property developers, and workshop operators.
  • Identify new trade projects, upcoming site developments, and high-value prospective clients to continuously build a robust sales pipeline.

2. Strategic Relationship & Partner Management

  • Establish and sustain strong key-account relationships with Interior Designers, Project Managers, Consultants, and Technical Specialists.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for external partners, providing timely product advisory, material specifications, and customized solutions.
  • Secure strategic vendor inclusions and preferred supplier agreements with interior design studios and contractor networks.

3. Sales Consultation, Proposal & Deal Closure

  • Understand client technical requirements and scope of works to recommend appropriate product/service applications.
  • Prepare comprehensive commercial proposals, formal tenders, cost estimates, and official quotations in alignment with internal pricing strategies.
  • Lead contract negotiations, address client objections professionally, and secure final deal sign-offs.

4. Account Coordination & Post-Sales Management

  • Collaborate closely with internal operations, workshop personnel, and logistics teams to ensure accurate execution and timely project delivery.
  • Conduct post-sales check-ins and ongoing account maintenance to foster long-term retention and facilitate repeat orders.
  • Monitor outstanding project billing and coordinate with finance for timely collection of client payments.

5. Market Intelligence & Performance Reporting

  • Track and report market developments, competitor pricing, and emerging design/industry trends back to management.
  • Maintain organized client interaction logs, pipeline updates, and sales forecasts to evaluate conversion performance against target KPIs.

Working Hours & Location

  • Schedule: Monday to Saturday
  • Working Hours: Flexible Field Schedule (Autonomous management of daily itineraries centered around client appointments and site visits)
  • Location: Field-based operations across Singapore (with periodic office check-ins)

Compensation & Remuneration

  • Base Remuneration: Competitive Fixed Basic Salary
  • Incentives: Tiered & Uncapped Commission Scheme (Structure, performance tiers, and targets to be discussed in detail during interview)
  • Allowances: Transport / Field Mobility Allowance provided

Job Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience in outdoor sales, corporate B2B sales, or technical solution selling.
  • Network Advantage: Prior experience dealing directly with interior designers, main contractors, trade specialists, or workshop personnel is highly advantageous.
  • Competencies: Strong interpersonal communication, active listening, strategic negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Attributes: High degree of self-discipline, resilience, target-oriented mindset, and the ability to manage time effectively under a flexible field arrangement.
  • Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively across Singapore for daily client visits.
