About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Development Manager / Sales Manager who is both a hunter and farmer — able to bring in new clients while growing and retaining your existing accounts. The role will primarily focus on Singapore clients, with opportunities to develop and manage regional client accounts across Asia.

This is not a role that requires you to cold-call; your success will come from 50% of the lead generation expected from your own existing network and the rest from company-supported regular networking events, database of warm leads, and inbound website enquiries.

Key responsibilities

Generate New Business:

  • Proactively drive the full sales cycle — from lead sourcing, generation and active follow up, qualifying leads, arrange meetings, conduct pitches, to closing deals (influencer packages), leveraging a multi-channel pipeline combining your personal industry network with company-sponsored weekly networking events, database, and inbound website leads
  • Achieve monthly sales targets of influencer packages with uncapped commission

Account Maintenance:

  • Maintain strong relationships with the clients you brought in (campaign management not required), identify repeat business opportunities and work towards long-term/retainer accounts

Sales Pipeline Management and Sales Expansion Plan:

  • Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline with accurate sales records and forecasts to consistently achieve monthly sales targets
  • Provide regular market and client insight, and identify opportunities for new products, services and packages

Proposal and Report:

  • Work closely with the Campaign Management Team supporting you on client proposals and campaign reports development.
  • Brief the team clearly on client requirements and brainstorm campaign ideas and budget together
  • Review proposal and report before sending over to the client

About you

  • Singaporeans and permanent residents only.
  • 3-8 years of relevant sales/business development experience, including at least 2 years in media, digital marketing, advertising, partnerships or related sales; Influencer marketing sales experience will be an advantage, but not required
  • Proven sales track record with an active existing professional network in consumer brands such as F&B, FMCG, consumer electronics, malls, retail, lifestyle, hospitality, e-commerce, banking/merchant partnerships, POS, media, advertising, character licensing, or similar industries
  • Able to work independently while collaborating closely with the marketing operations team
  • Willing to learn in-depth on influencer marketing, social media algorithm, and new marketing strategies — training will be provided
  • Able to speak and read Chinese to communicate with some Chinese-speaking clients
  • Influencer marketing sales experience is an advantage but not required
