Job Description:

  • Formulate and implement BU business plans and strategies aligned with overall company goals.
  • Take full ownership of BU P&L, revenue objectives, forecasting accuracy, and profitability metrics.
  • Monitor market developments, establish product and solution positioning, and identify new business growth opportunities.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and provide performance updates to senior management.
  • Develop strategic key accounts and broaden the overall customer base.
  • Provide guidance and support to sales engineers in pre-sales engagements, solution development, proposals, and commercial negotiations.
  • Establish and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships to ensure business continuity and customer confidence.
  • Address and resolve critical commercial and delivery-related matters to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and oversee product lifecycle strategies and planning.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, principals, and technical teams to ensure product offerings are aligned with market requirements.
  • Review product cost structures, establish appropriate pricing strategies, and monitor margin performance.
  • Facilitate product training and knowledge-sharing sessions for both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, QA, and Procurement teams across Singapore, Malaysia, and China.
  • Assist in planning assembly activities, supplier localization initiatives, and technical builds as required.
  • Ensure BU operations and processes adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Lead, mentor, develop, and assess BU team members to enhance individual and team performance.
  • Assign responsibilities effectively and ensure individual objectives are aligned with overall BU goals.
  • Promote a collaborative, accountable, and results-oriented team environment.
  • Develop succession plans and nurture potential future leaders within the BU.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales, including leadership experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
