About the Role

We are an established preschool inSingapore seeking an experienced and commercially driven BusinessDevelopment Manager to identify new growth opportunities and developstrategic partnerships.

The successful candidate will play a keyrole in expanding the preschool’s business beyond its core early childhoodeducation services, including corporate partnerships, educational programmes,enrichment collaborations, and student care services.

Key Responsibilities

1. Corporate Partnerships &Educational Tour Programmes

  • Identify and develop partnerships with companies, educational institutions, agencies, and other organisations.
  • Develop and promote educational tour, study visit, and learning experience programmes for corporate and institutional partners.
  • Manage business negotiations, partnership proposals, and long-term partner relationships.
  • Explore new B2B opportunities that can strengthen the preschool’s brand and generate additional revenue streams.

2. Development of Weekend & Off-PeakProgrammes

  • Maximise the utilisation of the preschool’s facilities during weekends and other non-school hours.
  • Identify and establish partnerships with enrichment providers, education companies, trainers, and programme operators.
  • Develop suitable enrichment programmes such as arts, sports, STEM, robotics, language, and other interest-based activities for children.
  • Evaluate the commercial viability and operational feasibility of potential programmes and partnerships.

3. Expansion into Student Care /After-School Care Services

  • Explore opportunities to expand the organisation’s services into primary school student care and after-school programmes.
  • Conduct market research and identify suitable locations, schools, communities, and potential partners.
  • Develop business models, partnership strategies, and implementation plans for new student care operations.
  • Support the establishment and growth of new business units from initial planning through execution.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development, partnerships, sales.
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Experience in developing B2B partnerships and negotiating commercial agreements.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to independently lead projects from concept development to implementation.
  • Strong network among corporate partners, education providers, schools, or enrichment organisations would be advantageous.
