The posting

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by securing new Facilities Management (FM) Operations and Alteration & Addition (A&A) projects. This is a highly commercial and client-facing role requiring a strong industry network, established contacts and proven ability to originate and close business opportunities.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop and secure new FM Operations and A&A business opportunities
  • Leverage established industry networks and contacts to generate qualified leads and build a strong sales pipeline
  • Acquire new clients and expand opportunities within existing accounts
  • Build strong relationships with property owners, developers, REITs, managing agents, consultants and key decision-makers
  • Manage the sales cycle from lead generation and client engagement through proposal, negotiation and contract award
  • Work with internal teams to develop competitive technical and commercial solutions
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities and upcoming business opportunities
  • Develop account strategies to drive recurring and new business
  • Maintain sales forecasts, opportunity pipelines and business development updates
  • Achieve sales, revenue and business development targets

Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma in Business, Engineering, Facilities Management, Building Services or related discipline
  • At least 4 years of business development or sales experience within Facilities Management, Building Services, Construction or M&E
  • Proven track record in securing FM Operations and/or A&A projects
  • Strong established network and industry contacts with the ability to generate business opportunities
  • Strong commercial, negotiation and relationship management skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Self-driven, proactive and results-oriented
  • Able to travel and actively engage clients across Singapore
