Position: Centre Leader / Childcare Principal Location: East Employment Type: Full-time

At APTLed (EA: 25C3162), we believe in building inclusive, values-driven learning environments where every Child feels seen, heard, and inspired. We are inviting highly dedicated, independent, responsible and passionate Centre Leader / Childcare Principal to join us in creating meaningful Early Learning experiences in Singapore.

We are seeking a dedicated and highly responsible to lead an ECDA Licensed Preschool, serving a close‑knit community of expatriate families. The ideal candidate is independent, takes full ownership of centre operations, and champions play‑based pedagogy within a warm, family‑and child‑centric environment. This is a long‑term leadership role offering strong growth opportunities and attractive benefits.

Attitude and Aptitude matter most where candidates must demonstrate maturity, professionalism, and strong problem‑solving capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Centre Leadership — Oversee daily operations, staffing, curriculum implementation, and centre performance.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with families, ensuring a welcoming and culturally responsive environment for expatriate communities.
  • Guide educators in delivering high‑quality, play‑based, inquiry‑driven learning experiences.
  • Take full operational ownership, including licensing, audits, safety, and ECDA compliance.
  • Mentor and develop educators, fostering a positive, collaborative team culture.
  • Ensure the centre environment is safe, nurturing, and aligned with the school’s philosophy.

Requirements:

  • ECDA‑Recognised Qualifications with Diploma/Degree/ Master in Early Childhood Education with L2 certification.
  • Proven experience leading a preschool or managing centre operations.
  • Strong commitment to family‑ and child‑centric values.
  • Deep understanding of play‑based learning approaches.
  • Highly responsible, independent, and able to take full ownership of centre outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Must provide at least 3 professional references from individuals who have directly worked with the candidate.
  • Passion for long‑term contribution and centre growth.
