The posting

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible forproviding overall strategic leadership, direction, and management of theCompany’s marine and offshore business operations. The CEO is accountable forachieving sustainable business growth, financial performance, operationalexcellence, customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and effectiveimplementation of the Company’s Integrated Management System (IMS), includingQuality, Health, Safety, Environmental, and other applicable managementrequirements.

The CEO shall ensure that the Company operates safely,efficiently, ethically, and in accordance with applicable statutory,regulatory, contractual, classification society, and industry requirements.

KeyResponsibilities

A. Strategic Leadership & Business Management

  • Establish and communicate the Company’s vision, mission, business objectives, and strategic direction.
  • Develop and implement short-, medium-, and long-term business strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for growth within the marine, offshore, shipyard, engineering, fabrication, vessel services, and related sectors.
  • Monitor market trends, customer requirements, industry developments, and competitive conditions.
  • Ensure the Company's business activities are aligned with corporate objectives and stakeholder expectations.
  • Lead organizational development and ensure effective allocation of resources.

B. Financial & Commercial Management

  • Take overall responsibility for the Company’s financial performance and commercial sustainability.
  • Review and approve annual budgets, business plans, capital expenditure, and major investments.
  • Monitor revenue, profitability, cash flow, project costs, and financial risks.
  • Ensure effective commercial and contract management.
  • Review and approve major tenders, quotations, contracts, variations, and commercial commitments within delegated authority.
  • Establish appropriate controls to manage project cost overruns, claims, contractual risks, and financial exposure.

C. Marine & Offshore Operations

  • Provide overall direction and oversight of marine and offshore operations.
  • Ensure projects and operations are planned, executed, and completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contractual requirements.
  • Monitor operational performance, project schedules, productivity, resource utilization, and delivery objectives.
  • Ensure appropriate technical, engineering, marine, project management, and operational resources are available.
  • Oversee vessel operations, offshore activities, ship repair, fabrication, construction, commissioning, maintenance, or other services applicable to the Company's scope.
  • Ensure effective management of operational risks associated with marine and offshore activities.

D. QHSE & Integrated Management System

  • Demonstrate leadership and commitment to Quality, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental protection, and other IMS requirements.
  • Establish and maintain the Company's QHSE policy, objectives, and performance targets.
  • Ensure adequate resources are provided to implement and maintain the IMS.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure that employees and contractors understand their QHSE responsibilities.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, flag-state, port-state, classification society, client, and industry requirements.
  • Review QHSE performance, incidents, nonconformities, corrective actions, audit findings, and improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure significant risks and opportunities are identified, assessed, controlled, and periodically reviewed.
  • Lead or participate in Management Review meetings.
  • Ensure continual improvement of the Company's IMS and operational performance.

E. Regulatory & Compliance Management

  • Ensure the Company complies with applicable marine, offshore, environmental, occupational safety, employment, and corporate requirements.
  • Maintain appropriate relationships with regulatory authorities, classification societies, certification bodies, clients, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure required licenses, certifications, approvals, permits, and statutory requirements are maintained.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual and client-specific requirements.

F. Business Development & Customer Relations

  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with key customers, shipowners, operators, EPC contractors, offshore contractors, shipyards, and industry partners.
  • Lead major business development initiatives and strategic negotiations.
  • Review customer requirements and ensure the organization is capable of meeting contractual commitments.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and ensure appropriate actions are taken to address customer concerns.
  • Identify strategic partnerships, joint ventures, alliances, and new market opportunities where appropriate.

G. People & Organizational Leadership

  • Establish an effective organizational structure and define authority, responsibility, and accountability.
  • Ensure competent personnel are recruited, developed, retained, and appropriately deployed.
  • Promote leadership development, employee engagement, competency development, and succession planning.
  • Ensure employees understand the Company's objectives, policies, responsibilities, and performance expectations.
  • Promote a culture of professionalism, accountability, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.

H. Risk Management & Business Continuity

  • Establish an effective framework for identifying and managing strategic, operational, financial, commercial, legal, QHSE, and reputational risks.
  • Review significant business and project risks and ensure appropriate mitigation measures are implemented.
  • Ensure business continuity and emergency preparedness arrangements are established and maintained.
  • Ensure major incidents, crises, and significant business disruptions are appropriately managed and communicated to the Board and relevant stakeholders.

I. Corporate Governance & Board Reporting

  • Provide regular reports to the Board of Directors on business performance, financial results, operational activities, QHSE performance, risks, and strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure effective implementation of Board-approved strategies and decisions.
  • Maintain appropriate corporate governance and internal control systems.
  • Ensure business decisions are made in accordance with applicable laws, Company policies, delegated authorities, and ethical standards.

J. Environmental & Sustainability Leadership

  • Promote responsible environmental management across marine and offshore activities.
  • Ensure appropriate controls are established for pollution prevention, waste management, emissions, energy consumption, and environmental impacts.
  • Support the Company's sustainability objectives and relevant environmental initiatives.
  • Ensure environmental incidents are investigated and corrective actions implemented.

K. Continuous Improvement

  • Drive continual improvement in business, operational, technical, QHSE, and management processes.
  • Review performance indicators and establish improvement plans where required.
  • Encourage innovation, digitalization, technology adoption, and improved work practices.
  • Ensure lessons learned from projects, incidents, audits, customer feedback, and operational experience are incorporated into business processes.
