About the Role

We are seeking a highly driven and results-oriented Channel Sales Manager to lead and develop a team of Assurance Managers within our Advisory Channel. You will be responsible for driving sales performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, developing sales capabilities, and building a high-performing team that delivers sustainable business growth.

This role combines leadership, coaching, regulatory supervision, recruitment, and sales management responsibilities. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping our advisors achieve their full potential while ensuring customers receive quality financial advice that adheres to all regulatory and company requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Performance Management

  • Recruit, lead and develop a team of Assurance Managers to achieve and exceed sales and productivity targets.
  • Monitor individual and team performance, identify capability gaps, and implement effective action plans through training, coaching, field observations and performance reviews.
  • Drive a high-performance culture by establishing sales activities, pipeline management disciplines and customer engagement standards while motivating AMs to maximize their potential.
  • Build sales capabilities through structured coaching on product knowledge, market trends, sales techniques, communication skills, tele-prospecting and customer engagement strategies.
  • Track and improve sales conversion from lead generation campaigns, roadshows, seminars and customer engagement events to support business growth.

Regulatory Supervision & Quality Governance

  • Supervise and oversee all sales activities, including new business submissions, customer callbacks and sales documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory, compliance and risk management standards throughout the end-to-end sales process.
  • Provide guidance on case management and resolve escalated operational and customer-related issues, including complaint handling.

Key Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Finance, Banking, Insurance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in financial advisory or insurance sales management.
  • Proven track record in leading and developing sales teams to achieve business targets.
  • Strong understanding of life insurance products, financial planning concepts, and industry regulations.
