About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable tanker company with a Singapore office. They are seeking a Chartering Executive to join their chartering team and support their product and chemical tanker operations.

Job Description

  • Manage chartering activities for product and chemical tankers
  • Work closely with cargo traders on cargo requirements and commercial decisions
  • Handle vessel nomination, vetting and compatibility assessments
  • Oversee post fixture management including documentation and follow-ups
  • Prepare market reports and presentations for internal stakeholders

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in product or chemical tanker chartering
  • Solid understanding of tanker markets and shipping operations
  • Strong communication, negotiation and analytical skills
  • Proficient in English
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to work with minimal supervision
