We are expanding and looking for passionate kitchen professionals to grow with us at Godmama Modern Peranakan Cuisine.

  • Chef de Partie

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook and present Peranakan dishes according to Godmama’s recipes, standards and portion guidelines.
  • Take charge of the assigned kitchen section and ensure smooth operations during lunch and dinner service.
  • Complete daily mise en place and ensure the section is fully prepared before service.
  • Maintain consistency in food quality, taste, presentation and portioning.
  • Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure timely preparation and service of all dishes.
  • Monitor ingredients and stock levels and inform the Chef when replenishment is required.
  • Follow proper food storage, FIFO, labelling and date-marking procedures.
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment, utensils and work areas are properly cleaned and maintained.
  • Assist with receiving and checking ingredients to ensure freshness and quality.
  • Perform other kitchen duties assigned by the Head Chef or management.

Requirements

  • Relevant kitchen experience, preferably in Peranakan, Asian or local cuisine.
  • Able to handle a kitchen section independently during busy service.
  • Good understanding of food preparation, hygiene and kitchen operations.
  • Responsible, organised and a good team player.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to learn and maintain Godmama’s food standards.
  • Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
