Job Summary

Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of classrooms, play areas, toilets, pantry, and office spaces to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for children and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Clean classrooms, play areas, toilets, pantry, and office spaces daily to maintain hygiene
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect floors and surfaces to ensure cleanliness
  • Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly to maintain a clean environment
  • Sanitize children’s furniture, toys, and common areas to reduce health risks
  • Refill toiletries and cleaning supplies to ensure availability for daily use
  • Maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards consistently throughout the premises
  • Manage time effectively and work independently to complete assigned cleaning tasks
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the principal

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Prior cleaning experience, preferably in schools, childcare centers, or similar environments
  • Basic understanding of hygiene and safety standards
  • Physical fitness to carry out cleaning tasks
  • Reliability, punctuality, and responsibility in work attendance and conduct
