Job Summary

Drive Class 4 lorries to collect and deliver materials, coordinate with teams and customers, assist with loading/unloading, and support warehouse operations to ensure timely and safe logistics.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Class 4 lorry to complete daily collection and delivery routes on schedule
  • Coordinate effectively with customers, Admin, and Operations teams during collections to ensure smooth operations
  • Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Secure all materials properly before transportation to prevent damage or loss
  • Verify collected items against Delivery Orders, collection lists, or job instructions for accuracy
  • Obtain customer acknowledgement/signature and submit completed documents promptly after each job
  • Capture photos of collected materials when required for documentation
  • Perform daily basic vehicle checks and maintain cleanliness of the assigned lorry
  • Report vehicle defects, accidents, collection discrepancies, or damaged materials immediately to management
  • Adhere strictly to road safety, workplace safety, and customer site requirements at all times
  • Support warehouse tasks including sorting, packing, and weighing when not assigned to driving duties
  • Carry out other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management

Required competencies and certifications

  • Valid Singapore Class 4 Driving Licence

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Relevant lorry driving experience
  • Ability to communicate and coordinate with customers and internal teams
  • Responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious work attitude
  • Willingness to work overtime when required
