The Opportunity

Be part of a clinical research team supporting the successful execution of clinical studies and contributing to the delivery of high-quality research outcomes.

As a Clinical Research Coordinator, you will work closely with investigators, study teams and research participants to coordinate study activities from recruitment and screening through to follow-up, while ensuring adherence to study protocols, ethical standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate participant recruitment, screening, enrolment and follow-up activities in accordance with approved study protocols.
  • Work closely with the Principal Investigator and study team to support study recruitment and overall site performance.
  • Review study protocols, eligibility criteria and study requirements with relevant medical personnel and participants.
  • Facilitate informed consent processes and ensure participant rights, safety and confidentiality are appropriately protected.
  • Maintain accurate source documentation and review clinical data for completeness, consistency and accuracy.
  • Complete and manage Case Report Forms (CRFs), electronic data capture systems and other study-related documentation.
  • Identify missing, inconsistent or potentially inaccurate information and follow up with the relevant parties for clarification.
  • Maintain essential study files, participant records, regulatory documents, consent forms, logs and study communications.
  • Coordinate study supplies, including the receipt, tracking and management of investigational products where applicable.
  • Monitor and document adverse events, serious adverse events, protocol deviations and other study-related issues, escalating matters when required.
  • Ensure study activities and documentation are completed within required timelines and in accordance with protocol and site procedures.
  • Develop study-specific documentation or source templates when required by the study.
  • Communicate protocol-related matters, operational updates and study issues to the appropriate study personnel or management.
  • Participate in investigator meetings, study meetings, conference calls and relevant research team meetings.
  • Liaise with the Principal Investigator and research management team regarding study-specific medical or operational matters.
  • Support research activities across satellite clinic sites when required.
  • Uphold applicable ethical, legal, regulatory and confidentiality requirements throughout the conduct of clinical studies.

What We're Looking For

  • Degree in Science, Life Sciences, Public Health, Health Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Nursing or a related discipline from a recognised institution.
  • Experience in clinical research, clinical trials, research coordination or a related setting is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), clinical research regulations and ethical principles relating to human biomedical research is preferred.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple study activities and timelines.
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on data accuracy and documentation.
  • Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
