OBJECTIVE:

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Advertising, Public Relations, Partnerships and Brand Website

  • Support the development and management of the resort’s annual Marketing Communications budget, ensuring alignment with the approved marketing plan and the establishment of measurable action plans and performance indicators.
  • Assist in developing and executing proactive advertising and communications plans across print, digital and social media channels to strengthen brand awareness and achieve agreed monthly KPIs within the approved budget.
  • Draft press releases, media pitches, fact sheets and other public relations materials as required.
  • Coordinate media, influencer and social media stay requests, including itineraries, internal arrangements and post-stay follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date media, influencer and business partner databases.
  • Monitor and track the resort’s publicity across print, digital and social media platforms, and evaluate the quality and reach of media coverage.
  • Support the development of sponsorships and strategic partnerships with relevant organisations and local market partners to expand the resort’s reach and access to target audiences.
  • Maintain and update the resort’s brand website, ensuring that content is accurate, engaging, current and aligned with brand positioning and guidelines.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the resort’s online visibility, market penetration and brand awareness across local and international markets.

Social Media Management

  • Assist in developing and implementing social media strategies, content calendars and marketing campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
  • Create engaging, platform-appropriate content that reflects the resort’s brand identity, strengthens brand awareness and drives audience engagement.
  • Identify and engage suitable influencers, content creators and key opinion leaders in priority markets whose profiles and audiences are aligned with the brand.
  • Monitor social media channels and engage with followers by responding to comments, messages and enquiries accurately and promptly.
  • Monitor emerging social media trends, platform developments and competitor activities, and recommend relevant content opportunities.
  • Use analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Local Measure, Meta Business Suite and other platform insights to monitor and evaluate monthly performance.
  • Prepare regular social media performance reports and recommend actions to improve reach, engagement, conversion and overall content effectiveness.

Marketing Collateral, Photography, Videography and Visual Content Management

  • Assist in the development and production of marketing collateral, advertising materials and promotional content for Food and Beverage, Sales, Weddings, Spa, Rooms and Resort activities, in line with the annual Marketing Communications plan.
  • Capture high-quality photography and videography content for marketing campaigns, social media, digital advertising, public relations and internal communications.
  • Conceptualise, plan, storyboard, shoot and edit short-form and long-form video content for relevant digital platforms.
  • Produce reels, social media videos, YouTube content, behind-the-scenes features, interviews and promotional videos that strengthen brand storytelling and audience engagement.
  • Photograph the resort’s facilities, rooms, villas, food and beverage offerings, events, Heartists and guest experiences in accordance with brand standards.
  • Edit, retouch and optimise photographs and videos using industry-standard software to ensure visual quality, platform suitability and audience engagement.
  • Adapt visual content into the appropriate dimensions, formats and specifications for different digital, social media and print platforms.
  • Ensure that all visual content complies with brand guidelines, intellectual property requirements, consent requirements and relevant usage rights.
  • Maintain an organised and current digital asset library, including consistent file naming, tagging, categorisation, usage rights, consent records and version control.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external agencies to ensure the timely delivery of quality content and collateral.

Technical Skills

Photography

  • Proficiency in operating professional camera systems, including Sony, Canon or Nikon, together with appropriate lenses, lighting and supporting equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of composition, lighting, colour, visual storytelling and post-production editing.
  • Demonstrated experience in photographing luxury hospitality environments, interiors, food and beverage, events, lifestyle content and guest experiences.
  • Proficiency in photography editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom or equivalent applications.

Videography

  • Demonstrated experience in shooting and editing both short-form and long-form video content for social media, websites, digital campaigns and YouTube.
  • Proficiency in mobile content creation tools and workflows for the timely production of platform-native content.
  • Advanced video-editing capabilities using Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve or equivalent software.
  • Working knowledge of audio recording, lighting, framing, transitions, colour grading, subtitles and motion graphics.
  • Ability to optimise video content for different platforms, formats, aspect ratios and audience behaviours.

Administration and Reporting

  • Raise and process Purchase Requests, Complimentary Accommodation Forms, Contract Approval Forms and other relevant administrative documents accurately and promptly.
  • Obtain quotations and follow up on the approval and completion of marketing job requests, collateral production and printing.
  • Liaise with Procurement, Finance, operational departments and external vendors to ensure compliance with purchasing procedures and agreed timelines.
  • Monitor marketing expenses and commitments against the approved budget, and highlight potential variances promptly.
  • Compile monthly publicity reports, media coverage summaries, media clippings and relevant performance updates.
  • Maintain accurate records of contracts, quotations, invoices, approvals, campaigns and marketing activities.
  • Undertake other reasonable duties and projects assigned by the Cluster Director of Corporate Communications or Senior Management.
