Compliance Analyst – 6 Months Contract

Contract Duration: 6 Months

Salary: S$4,500 – S$6,500 per month

Job Summary

We are seeking a Compliance Analyst to support the Compliance function. The role will be responsible for day-to-day compliance activities, including screening and monitoring, maintaining compliance registers, tracking remediation actions, supporting risk assessments, and assisting with compliance reporting.

The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring accurate recordkeeping, timely follow-up and escalation of compliance matters, while supporting a strong culture of ethics and integrity across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Policy & Procedures Support

• Support the review, update, implementation and dissemination of compliance policies and procedures.

• Assist with compliance and risk-related assessments and operational activities.

• Monitor key policy areas including gifts and hospitality, conflicts of interest, related party transactions, personal account dealing and insider trading.

• Maintain relevant records, registers and documentation, and support compliance reporting.

Screening & Monitoring

• Conduct screening and monitoring of vendors, customers and other relevant third parties in collaboration with onboarding teams.

• Review and document screening results and follow up on outstanding information or documentation.

• Perform periodic monitoring and ensure timely resolution of outstanding compliance matters.

• Escalate higher-risk matches, potential issues and unresolved items in accordance with internal procedures.

Compliance Risk Assessment

• Support compliance risk assessment projects to identify potential compliance gaps and vulnerabilities.

• Assist in developing and implementing appropriate corrective and remediation actions.

• Maintain compliance risk assessment records, dashboards and tracking reports.

• Monitor remediation activities and follow up with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely closure.

Regulatory & Requirements Monitoring

• Monitor new and evolving local and international laws, regulations and regulatory requirements relevant to the business.

• Conduct research and provide support in assessing the potential impact of regulatory changes.

• Assist affected business units with the implementation of applicable regulatory requirements across relevant jurisdictions.

• Maintain appropriate records of regulatory developments and implementation status.

Compliance Training

• Support the development and coordination of compliance training materials and programmes.

• Assist with training activities for employees and management on relevant compliance policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

• Maintain training records and support monitoring of training completion.

Requirements

• Degree in Compliance, Risk Management, Finance, Business, Law or a related discipline.

• Relevant experience in compliance, risk, regulatory monitoring, KYC/AML, screening or a related function.

• Good understanding of compliance principles, risk management and regulatory requirements.

• Strong attention to detail with good documentation and recordkeeping skills.

• Good analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks, follow up on outstanding matters and meet deadlines.

• Proactive, organized and comfortable working in a fast-paced corporate environment.
