About Tradition

Tradition is one of the world’s largest interdealer brokers in over-the-counter financial and commodity products. We are the interdealer broking arm of Compagnie Financière Tradition, listed on the Swiss stock exchange and represented in more than 30 countries worldwide. Learn more at www.tradition.com.

About the Role

Join our Singapore team as a Compliance Officer and gain broad, hands-on exposure to compliance within the fast-paced world of interdealer broking and financial markets.

Reporting to the Singapore Compliance Manager and working closely with our APAC Compliance team, you will play an important role in helping the business navigate regulatory requirements, manage compliance risks and maintain the highest standards of integrity and governance.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who are looking to build a well-rounded career in financial markets compliance. You will work across a diverse range of areas, including AML/CFT, trade and communication surveillance, regulatory reporting, licensing, governance and risk management, while partnering closely with both front-office and support teams.

What You’ll Do

  • Support day-to-day compliance activities, including client, counterparty and vendor due diligence, trade and communication surveillance, employee compliance monitoring, regulatory reporting and responding to compliance-related queries.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and assess their potential impact on the business, escalating key issues and supporting the implementation of any required changes.
  • Work with regulators, exchanges and affiliated companies on compliance-related matters, gaining valuable exposure to the broader regulatory landscape.
  • Deliver engaging compliance training to employees, including onboarding sessions for new joiners and periodic refresher training.
  • Contribute to annual compliance risk assessments, maintain robust control documentation and help ensure policies and procedures remain current and effective.
  • Partner with front-office and support teams to provide practical compliance guidance and promote a strong, proactive culture of compliance across the business.
  • Take ownership of assigned compliance projects and contribute to continuous improvements in our compliance framework and processes.

What You’ll Bring

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Finance, Law, Accounting or a related discipline.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience, ideally within financial services, compliance or a related function.
  • Previous experience with an interdealer broker, futures company, bank, trading house or other financial institution would be advantageous.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues across different functions.
  • A collaborative team player who is also comfortable taking ownership and working independently.
  • A proactive, analytical and detail-oriented approach, with the confidence to ask questions, identify issues and follow matters through to resolution.

Why Join Us?

  • Broad exposure: Develop experience across multiple areas of financial markets compliance rather than being limited to a specialist function.
  • Regional collaboration: Work closely with colleagues across the APAC Compliance team and gain exposure to a wider regulatory environment.
  • Meaningful impact: Be a trusted compliance partner to the business and help shape a strong culture of risk awareness and integrity.
  • Career development: Build a strong foundation for a long-term career in financial services compliance through hands-on experience and varied responsibilities.
  • Dynamic environment: Work in a fast-moving financial markets business where your judgement, initiative and attention to detail make a real difference.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
