Job Summary

We are hiring a QA Testing Consultant to support testing activities for Oracle EBS Supply Chain solutions integrated with middleware platforms and 3PL WMS systems. This role works closely with the Oracle Business Analyst, Oracle development teams, middleware teams, and 3PL partners to validate end-to-end business scenarios across Order Management, Inventory, Purchasing, and Shipping.

The consultant will play a key role in ensuring quality, accuracy, and stability of all integrated solutions before go-live.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Test Planning & Preparation

  • Review business requirements, functional design documents (FDDs), and integration specifications provided by the Oracle BA.
  • Prepare detailed test scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria covering: Functional testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), End-to-End (E2E) testing, Regression testing, UAT support

Test Execution

  • Execute test cases for Oracle EBS modules: Order Management, Inventory, Purchasing, Shipping
  • Perform integration testing across Oracle → Middleware → 3PL WMS flows.
  • Validate transaction accuracy across systems including: Inventory transfers, Order shipments, ASN and shipping confirmations.
  • Document test results and track defects clearly and thoroughly.

Integration Testing

  • Validate integration messages (XML/JSON), logs, and payload structures.
  • Verify data transformation, field mappings, and error handling.
  • Work closely with middleware and 3PL teams to troubleshoot integration failures.
  • Support E2E testing that includes physical warehouse flows and system updates.

Defect Logging & Resolution

  • Log defects in Jira (or similar tool) with full details (steps, screenshots, logs, payloads).
  • Follow up with Oracle developers, middleware teams, and 3PL partners to ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Retest fixes and validate regression impact.

Data Validation

  • Use SQL queries to validate data inside Oracle EBS tables.
  • Support data reconciliation across Oracle, middleware, and 3PL systems.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain up-to-date test documentation (test cases, results, traceability matrix).
  • Provide daily/weekly test execution status reports.
  • Support UAT planning and provide guidance to business testers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT/Computer Science or related discipline.
  • Should have 3 to 15 years of experience as a QA / Test Engineer. Overall experience not more than 16 years.
  • Mandatory hands-on experience testing Oracle EBS.
  • Should have experience any of the Supply Chain Management modules below: Order Management, Inventory, Purchasing, Shipping.
  • Experience testing integrations using middleware platforms (e.g., OIC, Boomi etc.).
  • Exposure to 3PL WMS testing (inbound, outbound, transfers, shipments).
  • Good working knowledge of: Test case creation, SIT/E2E testing, Regression testing
  • Good SQL skills for data validation.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence (or similar tools) for test management.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to document defects clearly.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience working with offshore teams is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations or logistics processes.
  • Basic API testing skills.
