The posting

Country Strategy & Business Leadership

  • Develop and execute the country business strategy in line with regional/global objectives.
  • Translate corporate strategy into clear annual operating plans and measurable targets.
  • Identify market opportunities, competitive threats and emerging consumer trends.
  • Develop strategies for revenue growth, market share and long-term profitability.
  • Act as the Senior Leader and face of the brand within the country.
  • Provide regular business performance updates and recommendations to the Board / Regional Leadership.

Full P&L & Financial Management

  • Own the country P&L and overall financial performance.
  • Deliver agreed sales, EBITDA, restaurant contribution and cash-flow targets.
  • Lead annual budgeting, forecasting and long-range business planning.
  • Drive same-store sales growth, transaction growth and average check improvement.
  • Optimize food cost, labor cost, occupancy, utilities and other operating expenses.
  • Monitor store-level economics and identify underperforming units.
  • Ensure strong financial controls, cash management and loss prevention.
  • Evaluate ROI and payback for new stores, remodels, technology and other capital investments.

Operations Excellence

  • Provide leadership across all restaurants and operating channels.
  • Ensure consistent execution of QSR operating standards, SOPs and service procedures.
  • Drive improvements in speed of service, food quality, order accuracy and restaurant productivity.
  • Establish and monitor operational KPIs and performance dashboards.
  • Conduct regular store visits and business reviews.
  • Identify operational gaps and implement corrective action plans.
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness, food safety, maintenance and Store appearance.

Customer Experience & Brand Standards

  • Own customer experience and brand reputation across the country.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of brand standards across all customer touchpoints.
  • Monitor customer feedback, complaints, ratings and satisfaction metrics.
  • Partner with Marketing to improve traffic, frequency, loyalty and customer engagement.
  • Ensure local marketing initiatives are aligned with the overall brand positioning.
  • Identify opportunities to adapt the proposition to local consumer preferences without compromising brand standards.

People & Leadership

  • Build and lead a high-performing country leadership team.
  • Drive a performance-oriented and customer-focused culture.
  • Ensure effective recruitment, training, engagement and retention of store teams.
  • Develop a strong pipeline of Store Managers and District Managers.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company HR policies.

New Store Development & Expansion

  • Lead the country's store expansion strategy.
  • Identify and evaluate potential locations and markets for new stores.
  • Partner with Project & Development team on site selection and feasibility.
  • Oversee new-store openings, relocations, remodels and major capital projects.
  • Ensure new stores achieve agreed opening timelines, budgets and performance targets.
  • Evaluate acquisition, franchise, master-franchise and partnership opportunities where applicable.

Supply Chain & Procurement

  • Ensure reliable, cost-effective supply of food, packaging, equipment and other operating requirements.
  • Partner with Supply Chain and Procurement to optimize COGS and supplier performance.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels and minimize waste, shortages and stock-outs.
  • Develop strong relationships with key suppliers and strategic partners.
  • Ensure suppliers meet required quality, food safety and brand specifications.

Marketing & Commercial Growth

  • Work closely with Marketing to develop country-level commercial plans.
  • Drive sales through promotions, menu innovation, pricing and channel optimization.
  • Develop strategies across dine-in, takeaway, drive-thru, delivery, digital and other relevant channels.
  • Monitor competitor pricing, promotions, product launches and market activity.

Risk, Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable food safety, health & safety, employment, licensing and regulatory requirements.
  • Establish appropriate risk-management and internal-control processes.
  • Ensure stores consistently meet audit and compliance standards.
  • Manage significant operational, financial, legal and reputational risks.
  • Lead the country's response to major operational or reputational incidents when required.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build effective relationships with franchise partners, landlords, government agencies, suppliers and other external stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong alignment with regional/global headquarters.
  • Represent the company in industry and business forums where appropriate.
  • Ensure effective communication between country and regional/global teams.

Requirement :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, Finance, Marketing or a related discipline
  • 12–15+ years of progressive experience in QSR, restaurant, FMCG or related consumer-facing businesses.
  • At least 5 years in a senior multi-unit / country / business leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing a significant P&L.
  • Strong track record of growing multi-unit restaurant businesses.
  • Experience in franchised or multi-brand QSR environments is highly desirable.
  • Experience in new-store development and market expansion preferred.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Deep understanding of QSR operations and restaurant economics.
  • Proven ability to lead large, geographically distributed teams.
  • Strong strategic planning and execution capability.
  • Excellent understanding of customer, brand and consumer dynamics.
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Data-driven and commercially entrepreneurial.
  • High level of ownership, accountability and execution discipline.
