Job Summary
Seeking a mid-level Analytics Engineer / Data Engineer with strong SQL, Python, data modelling, dbt, orchestration, and modern software engineering skills to support data platform development and modernization.
Mandatory Skill-set
- Must have 3–6 years of relevant Data/Analytics Engineering experience;
- Must have strong hands-on SQL and good Python knowledge;
- Experience in dimensional data modelling and data marts;
- Hands-on experience with dbt or equivalent transformation frameworks;
- Experience with Airflow or equivalent orchestration tools;
- Understanding of semantic layers and business metrics;
- Knowledge of Git, code reviews, testing, and CI/CD;
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT and data warehouse concepts;
- Ability to troubleshoot data and pipeline issues independently.
Desired Skill-set
- Experience with GCP, including BigQuery, Cloud Composer, and Cloud Storage;
- Exposure to .NET business logic, BI/reporting tools, and analytical data consumption.
Responsibilities
- Support development and modernization of data and analytics platforms;
- Develop and maintain SQL and Python-based data solutions;
- Build dimensional models, fact tables, dimension tables, and data marts;
- Develop data transformations using dbt or equivalent frameworks;
- Build and manage workflows using Airflow or equivalent tools;
- Implement reusable business logic, metrics, and semantic-layer concepts;
- Troubleshoot data and pipeline issues and follow software engineering best practices.
