The posting

Responsibilities

  • Support the design and technical team in coordinating multidisciplinary design works to meet project requirements, client specifications, and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate with consultants, clients, and relevant authorities to ensure design integration and compliance.
  • Monitor design schedules and submission milestones for temporary and permanent works in line with the construction programme.
  • Identify design optimisation opportunities to reduce construction costs.
  • Provide technical solutions for complex site issues, resolve design discrepancies, and support project planning and execution.
  • Guide and allocate tasks to design engineers to meet project requirements.

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant civil engineering/infrastructure experience, including 8 years in complex rail or road design projects.
  • Experience in authority submissions, regulatory compliance, client coordination, and relevant codes of practice and technical specifications.
  • Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with sound planning, organisational abilities, and the ability to perform under pressure.
