  • Monitor regional media coverage, market developments and reputational issues, escalating and advising as appropriate.
  • Coordinate with Fitch Group and Fitch Ratings communications colleagues where messages, media activity or reputational considerations overlap.
  • Work with external agency partners where relevant, while retaining ownership of regional priorities, spokespeople and messaging.
  • Track and report communications impact, including coverage quality, message pull-through, share of voice, stakeholder engagement and campaign contribution.
  • Contribute to global communications planning, bringing APAC market insight and regional opportunities into broader Fitch Solutions campaigns.
  • Lead by example, supporting colleagues across the region and helping embed consistent communications standards and ways of working.

What You Need To Have

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong editorial judgment and the ability to simplify complex subject matter.
  • Experience advising senior leaders and preparing spokespeople for interviews, events and external engagements.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a regulated, market-sensitive environment and respond calmly under time pressure.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple stakeholders, markets and time zones.
  • Collaborative working style and confidence operating in a global matrixed environment.

What Would Make You Stand Out

  • Deep knowledge of financial markets, credit, macroeconomics, structured finance, risk, data or financial technology.
  • Established relationships with tier-one financial media, global wires and APAC-based correspondents.
  • Experience building communications plans that connect media relations, thought leadership, events, social and marketing campaigns.
  • A confident, practical communicator who can provide sound judgment and credible counsel to senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to think regionally and globally, connecting APAC opportunities to the broader Fitch Solutions story.
  • Curiosity about AI, data delivery, workflow innovation and how clients are changing the way they access trusted intelligence.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
