Job Description

  • Develop and implement long-term category strategies aligned with business and technology roadmaps.
  • Lead a team of procurement and category management professionals, driving capability development and performance excellence.
  • Build and strengthen strategic supplier partnerships to support innovation, cost reduction, quality, and supply continuity.
  • Partner with executive stakeholders across operations, engineering, finance, and manufacturing to deliver procurement objectives.
  • Drive annual cost improvement programmes and total cost of ownership optimisation initiatives.
  • Lead supplier performance management, business reviews, and risk mitigation programmes.
  • Monitor market trends, supply chain developments, and emerging technologies to identify new sourcing opportunities and competitive advantages.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline; MBA is advantageous.
  • Minimally 10 years of procurement, sourcing, or category management experience within semiconductor, electronics manufacturing, capital equipment, or a related advanced manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing procurement or category management teams.
  • Strong track record of developing and executing strategic sourcing and category management programmes.
  • Experience driving cost reduction, supplier development, and total cost ownership initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage complex cross-functional projects.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience negotiating high-value contracts and supplier agreements.
  • Demonstrated experience managing supplier risk, performance, and business continuity strategies.
