Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support electrical engineering operations and site management. The role ensures electrical installation, testing, and maintenance at construction sites comply with approved standards, specifications, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee electrical engineering works at construction sites to ensure compliance with company standards and safety regulations
  • Review and verify electrical drawings, including secondary schematic diagrams, coordinating with vendors and consultants to ensure accuracy and feasibility
  • Supervise and witness on-site testing and commissioning of electrical panels, motors, and related equipment to confirm operational readiness
  • Identify and resolve technical and construction-related issues promptly to ensure construction quality acceptance
  • Liaise effectively with clients, employers, consultants, and relevant personnel by attending inspections and witnessing sessions as required
  • Prepare, review, and update construction method statements and technical documentation to support project execution
  • Coordinate with contractors and site teams to ensure timely and compliant execution of electrical works
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Company

Required competencies and certifications

  • Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in electrical engineering, preferably in construction, industrial, or heavy‑project environments
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline from a recognized institution
  • Proficient in CAD software to review, mark up, and produce electrical schematics and layout drawings
  • Deep familiarity with electrical equipment testing procedures and site commissioning workflows, able to verify compliance and functionality independently
  • Competent in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting, documentation, and technical correspondence
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to diagnose and resolve on‑site technical issues with minimal supervision
  • Able to meet all site access, security, and clearance requirements to work on Jurong Island
