Electrical Project Coordinator (Solar Panel / AirCon) – Kallang. 5.5 day week. Full Time. Singaporeans/SPR only.

Location: Kallang (Reporting Location)

Responsible for co-ordinating and supporting construction projects involving electrical works, solar panel systems and air-conditioning installations. The Project Coordinator works closely with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers and site teams to ensure projects are properly coordinated and completed according to schedule, specifications, quality and safety requirements.

KEY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Project Coordination

  • Coordinate day-to-day activities for construction and installation projects.
  • Coordinate electrical, solar panel and air-conditioning works with contractors and site teams.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure works are completed according to the agreed schedule.
  • Coordinate site meetings, inspections and project discussions.
  • Follow up on outstanding works, defects and rectification works.
  • Provide regular project progress updates to management and clients.

2. Electrical Works

  • Coordinate electrical installation works, including power supply, cabling, switchboards, lighting and electrical equipment.
  • Review electrical drawings, layouts and specifications.
  • Coordinate with electricians and electrical contractors on site installation works.
  • Assist with electrical testing, inspection and commissioning.
  • Identify site issues and coordinate with the relevant parties for rectification.

3. Solar Panel / PV Projects

  • Coordinate the installation of solar panels, mounting systems, inverters, cabling and related equipment.
  • Assist with site surveys and solar installation planning.
  • Coordinate solar panel delivery, installation and commissioning schedules.
  • Monitor installation progress and workmanship.
  • Coordinate testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of solar PV systems.
  • Liaise with suppliers and contractors regarding solar equipment and materials.
  • Maintain project records, testing reports and commissioning documentation.

4. Air-Conditioning / HVAC Works

  • Coordinate air-conditioning and HVAC installation works with contractors and site teams.
  • Monitor installation of air-conditioning units, piping, electrical connections and control systems.
  • Coordinate delivery and installation schedules for air-conditioning equipment.
  • Assist in coordinating testing, commissioning and troubleshooting.
  • Follow up on defects and ensure rectification works are completed.

5. Site Coordination

  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor work progress and installation quality.
  • Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment and site access requirements.
  • Ensure contractors follow approved drawings, specifications and work schedules.
  • Identify site constraints, technical issues and potential delays and report them promptly.
  • Coordinate with other trades to avoid clashes and delays between electrical, solar, air-conditioning and other construction works.

6. Documentation & Administration

  • Prepare and maintain project schedules, progress reports, site reports and meeting minutes.
  • Coordinate drawings, quotations, purchase orders, delivery orders and other project documentation.
  • Track material orders and deliveries to ensure materials are available when required.
  • Assist with preparing quotations, cost estimates and variation orders.
  • Maintain proper records of inspections, testing, commissioning and handover documents.

7. Safety & Quality

  • Ensure contractors comply with site safety requirements and Company procedures.
  • Monitor work quality and ensure installation works comply with approved drawings and specifications.
  • Report unsafe conditions, accidents, defects and non-conforming works to the relevant supervisor.
  • Assist with risk assessments, method statements and safety documentation where required.
  • Ensure proper housekeeping and safe working conditions at project sites.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma in Construction, Electrical Engineering, Building Services or a related field preferred.
  • Relevant experience in construction project coordination.
  • Practical experience in electrical works, solar panel / solar PV systems and air-conditioning / HVAC systems.
  • Able to read and understand electrical drawings, layouts and technical specifications.
  • Good coordination and communication skills.
  • Able to liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers and site workers.
  • Good organisational and time-management skills.
  • Able to manage multiple projects or work activities simultaneously.
  • Willing to travel to construction and project sites as required.

Working Period:

- Monday to Friday - 8am to 5pm

- Saturday – 8am to 12pm

Basic Salary:

Project Engineer - $3,200 to $3,800 per month
