About the role
Lead hardware design for automotive LiDAR products, including schematic circuit design, PCB layout rule definition and review, design documentation, DFMEA, WCCA, high-speed signal and power integrity simulation.
Key responsibilities
- Lead hardware design for automotive LiDAR products, including schematic circuit design, PCB layout rule definition and review, design documentation, DFMEA, WCCA, high-speed signal and power integrity simulation.
- Execute product and chip validation per automotive high-reliability standards; develop test fixtures and resolve chip reliability non-conformances.
- Engage in pre-project requirement alignment and prototype validation; drive mass production ramp-up, and continuously optimize design, incoming material quality and testing processes for mass production.
- Collaborate with test teams to set up test environments; support production on FCT fixture design and debugging, and optimize test logic and product reliability.
- Proactively provide design improvement proposals for existing products, challenge conventional design boundaries to boost performance, and drive concept-to-implementation delivery.
About you
- Bachelor's degree or above in relevant engineering disciplines; solid foundation in analog/digital circuits, reliability engineering and EMC principles.
- Strong hands-on debugging skills with proficiency in oscilloscopes, signal generators and other lab equipment.
- Experienced with schematic and PCB design CAD tools.
- Strong documentation and communication skills; able to compile technical data into standardized reports and share technical findings cross-team.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented and quick learner; result-driven with a mindset for continuous optimization and technical innovation.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and Chinese to collaborate with Chinese-speaking stakeholders
