Role Overview

The Engagement Lead serves as the primary account and delivery representative responsible for managing outcome-based engagements under the Master Contract. The role leads RFQ responses, defines delivery strategies, oversees governance, manages client relationships, and ensures successful achievement of agreed business outcomes, success measures, and contractual commitments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end response preparation for outcome-based RFQs, proposals, and client opportunities.
  • Define delivery approaches, resource plans, governance models, assumptions, dependencies, risks, and success measures.
  • Own customer engagement strategy, account management, and relationship development.
  • Serve as the primary client-facing representative throughout the engagement lifecycle.
  • Ensure that proposed solutions, delivery models, and commercial approaches align with client requirements and expected outcomes.
  • Lead solutioning workshops involving business, delivery, architectural, and commercial teams.
  • Establish project governance structures, reporting mechanisms, and stakeholder communication plans.
  • Drive successful execution of contracted outcomes and client acceptance criteria.
  • Manage delivery risks, escalations, issues, and dependencies across projects and teams.
  • Oversee contract compliance, financial performance, and commercial governance.
  • Review estimates, effort models, pricing assumptions, and delivery plans for modernization and transformation engagements.
  • Provide executive reporting and governance updates to clients and management stakeholders.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across architecture, analysis, engineering, quality assurance, and project management.
  • Maintain strong client satisfaction and long-term account growth opportunities.
  • Support business development activities and strategic account planning.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 12+ years of experience in account management, delivery management, program management, consulting, or client engagement leadership roles.
  • Proven experience leading RFQ, RFP, proposal, and tender response activities.
  • Experience managing fixed-price, outcome-based, or managed service engagements.
  • Strong understanding of contract governance, commercial management, and client reporting.
  • Experience delivering modernization, transformation, system analysis, or technology implementation programs.
  • Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and executive communication skills.
  • Experience managing multi-disciplinary delivery teams.
  • Strong financial, delivery, and governance management capabilities.
