Working closely with Production, Quality, Product Engineering, and Supply Chain teams, you will play a key role in optimizing manufacturing processes and supporting new product introductions. This is an exciting opportunity for engineers who enjoy problem-solving, continuous improvement, and making a direct impact on operational excellence in a dynamic semiconductor equipment manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day engineering support to manufacturing operations and resolve process, product, and production-related issues to minimize downtime and support on-time delivery.
  • Analyze manufacturing processes, identify root causes of issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve quality, yield, and productivity.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through process optimization, cycle time reduction, cost reduction, Lean Manufacturing, and 5S activities.
  • Support engineering change implementation, new product introduction (NPI), product transfers, and manufacturing readiness activities.
  • Develop, review, and maintain manufacturing documentation such as work instructions, process flows, SOPs, and technical reports.
  • Monitor manufacturing performance indicators and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Product Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to achieve manufacturing and business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety requirements, and company procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Preferably 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally within semiconductor, electronics, precision engineering, automation, or equipment manufacturing industries.
  • Experience in production support, process improvement, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
  • Familiarity with engineering change implementation, process validation, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions.
  • Self-motivated, hands-on, and able to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC), PFMEA, Control Plans, and other quality improvement tools.
  • Familiarity with New Product Introduction (NPI), product transfer, and manufacturing ramp-up activities.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor assembly, precision assembly, automation, or equipment manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to analyze manufacturing data and drive improvements in productivity, yield, quality, and cycle time.
  • Experience working with ERP/MRP or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) is an advantage.
  • Basic project management skills with the ability to manage improvement initiatives and cross-functional activities.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
