The posting

Job Summary:

Supports Engineering and NPI tasks, documentation, production, and follow-up. Coordinates Engineering, NPI, Production, Quality, Planning, Procurement, and suppliers for production readiness. Maintains Epicor ERP product/manufacturing data: part, material, BOM, MOM, WI/OMS, and engineering change records.

Key Responsibilities

1. Engineering Assistant Support Roles.

· Support NPI engineers in preparing and launching new products.

· Monitor assigned NPI activities and follow-up actions.

· Coordinate NPI requirements across Production, Quality, Planning, and Procurement.

· Compile information for production-readiness reviews.

· Monitor NPI schedules, unresolved issues, and required actions.

· Support engineering trials, pilot runs, and initial builds.

2. Epicor ERP & Part Master Data

· Create and maintain Epicor ERP part numbers in line with approved engineering requirements.

· Keep part descriptions, revisions, and required master data current.

· Obtain and maintain material master codes.

· Build and maintain multi-level BOMs.

· Maintain main/parent-to-child/component relationships.

· Validate BOM data against approved drawings, specifications, and engineering documents.

· Revise ERP data following approved engineering changes.

· Ensure ERP data remains accurate, complete, and controlled.

3. MOM / WI / OMS Documentation

· Prepare and revise Manufacturing Operation Sheets (MOM) as directed.

· Keep Work Instructions (WI) and Operation Manufacturing Specifications (OMS) current.

· Revise process flows and manufacturing documents to meet approved requirements.

· Align documents with current drawings, specifications, BOMs, and process data.

· Control document filing and revisions.

· Draft technical write-ups and production documents.

4. Engineering Change / ECN Support

· Upload ECO/ECN, Change Notices (ECN), and approved engineering changes to the Epicor ECO portal.

· Maintain ECN/change-control numbers and related documents in Epicor.

· Revise affected BOMs, MOMs, WIs, OMS, and Epicor data after approved changes.

· Coordinate accurate change implementation across relevant departments.

· Remove or flag obsolete information in accordance with document-control requirements.

· Preserve traceability between engineering changes and affected parts/processes.

5. Production Engineering Support

· Provide daily Production technical support under NPI/Engineering direction.

· Investigate manufacturing issues and gather production data.

· Resolve process, tooling, and assembly issues through troubleshooting.

· Support process trials and improvement activities.

· Monitor production problems and escalate those requiring engineering decisions.

· Support new-product ramp-up and process stabilization.

Job Requirement

· Education: NITEC/Higher Nitec/Diploma

· Experience: 0–2 years

· Engineering responsibility: Low to moderate

· Problem-solving skills: Assist engineers with data, measurements, documentation, and follow-up.

· NPI: Assist NPI activities

· Documentation: Update and maintain documentation

· ERP / Epicor: Enter and maintain data under direction.

· Production support: Provide technical assistance and follow-up.

· Tooling / Process: Assist tooling/process activities

· Decision making: Escalate engineering decisions

· Project ownership: Assist projects
