The posting

Commswave Pte Ltd is seeking a hands-on Engineering Assistant to support the assembly, integration, testing and troubleshooting of satellite communication (SATCOM) equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and test SATCOM, RF, electronic and mechanical equipment.
  • Support installation of antenna terminals, BUC, LNB, power supplies and cabling.
  • Perform wiring, crimping, soldering and basic electrical/electronic testing.
  • Assist engineers with troubleshooting, prototype builds and product improvements.
  • Prepare BOMs, test records and basic technical documentation.
  • Support inventory, incoming component checks and project activities.

Requirements

  • NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Telecommunications or related engineering field.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome.
  • Hands-on technical and troubleshooting ability.
  • Basic knowledge of engineering drawings and test equipment.
  • SATCOM/RF experience is an advantage but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Responsible, willing to learn and able to work independently and as part of a team.
