Job Description

StarWell Learning Studio is looking for a responsible and engaging English Teacher to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct English lessons for students based on their learning levels
  • Teach grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, speaking and listening
  • Prepare suitable lesson materials and classroom activities
  • Monitor students’ progress and provide feedback
  • Create a positive and engaging learning environment
  • Support lesson planning and curriculum development when required

Requirements

  • Good command of spoken and written English
  • Relevant teaching or tutoring experience preferred
  • Patient, responsible and good communication skills
  • Able to teach individual and small-group classes
  • Comfortable teaching young learners.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Teaching qualifications such as TESOL, TEFL or CELTA are advantageous but not compulsory.
  • Experience teaching KET / Cambridge English is preferred.
  • Experience in Primary Math or Science is a strong advantage.
  • Mandarin speaking ability is required, as most of our students come from Mandarin-speaking families. Basic conversational Mandarin is acceptable.
