Job Description •As an executive of one of the treasury centres which focuses on the Asia and Oceania region, to negotiate with each bank to ensure appropriate and prompt funding, to optimise funding allocation from not only an economic but also a relationship perspective, and to provide funding to the Itochu (ITA's ultimate parent company) Group companies without any errors.
•Additionally, to contribute to the achievement of ITA's mandated objectives (e.g., to optimise interest-bearing debt structure, reduce financing costs, secure liquidity and conduct efficient operation, which is described in The Domestic and Overseas Group Finance Program and other related policies).
Job Requirements ・Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to communicate information and ideas clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, to the management and employees of ITA and its group companies, as well as banking partners.
・Extensive knowledge of foreign exchange (FX) transactions across various currencies in the Asia and Oceania region, in addition to solid experience in treasury and financing operations.
・Strong accounting knowledge, with the ability to independently prepare business plans and financial forecasts accurately and on a timely basis, and to report monthly financial performance accurately and promptly to management and the Japan headquarters.
・Strong analytical and management capabilities, with the ability to provide strategic recommendations to management at the appropriate time and to lead ad hoc projects, such as the implementation of new interest rate benchmarks and other treasury-related initiatives.
・Holder of the JLPT N1 certification, with fluent business-level Japanese communication skills necessary to effectively liaise and collaborate with banking partners, group companies, and stakeholders at the Japan headquarters.
