Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate events end-to-end, from concept and budgeting to logistics and on-site execution
  • Plan and drive member engagement activities, track and monitor sign-ups, and follow up to maximise participation andmember satisfaction
  • Collaborate with other departments and committees to shape event concepts aligned with organisational goals
  • Promote events across a range of communication and social media channels
  • Take on ad-hoc duties assigned by the Head of Department and C-Suite

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in any discipline
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong language ability with demonstrated proficiency in written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient in Canva or similar design tools for creating event collaterals and social media content
  • Ability to work independently but also as a team player
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Prior experience in event management, membership services, or secretariat support is an advantage
  • Meticulous with strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage and manage internal and external stakeholders across seniority
