Purpose of the Job: Provides QHSSE administrative support and conduct in-house training on board the vessel and in the office. Responsible for ensuring that all vessel operations adhere to international maritime regulations, client requirements, and the company’s safety management system. Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor, support and control QHSSE activities on board vessels Maintain and implement QHSSE documentation and records as per the Company’s QHSSE MS
- Assist in the implementation of the Company and charterers’ QHSSE requirements
- Produce statistical reports for Management Review as well as per the Charterers’ requirements.
- Generate Purchase Requisitions (PR) related to HSE items and services.
- Attend Health, Safety and Environmental meetings and workshops when nominated by Designated Person.
- Issue Flag Circulars, Company Circulars, Safety Alerts/Flashes to the fleet in QHSSE matters.
- Monitor and analyse SCOUT Cards received from vessels and Office
- Carry out an Internal Safety Audit as assigned by Designated Person when necessary.
- To brief and conduct HSE induction for all crew prior to joining their vessel and office staffs
- Act as an event logger during emergency response
- Charterer’s health, safety and environmental audit and inspection status
- Implementation of charterer’s health, safety and environmental management
- Accident/incident status and preventive actions
REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma or Degree in QHSE, Maritime Studies, Marine Engineering or related discipline.
- Fresh graduate or Minimum 1-year relevant working experience in a QHSSE role within the marine/offshore industry or Fresh graduate
- Candidates with the following training and qualifications will be advantageous ISM & ISPS, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001, MLC.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
