The posting

Position: Executive (Sales Support, Business Development)

About the Role

Our Business Development (BD) team drives sales for Events in Civil Service Club. We are looking for an organised and proactive Executive to provide sales support to the team, engage in business outreach, and assist with site show-rounds for potential customers. This position will report to Assistant Manager, BD and Manager, BD.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide sales and administrative support to the Business Development (BD) team in managing enquiries, quotations, proposals and customer follow-ups.
  • Assist with business outreach and lead generation to identify and develop new M.I.C.E. business opportunities.
  • Assist the BD team in conducting site showrounds and presenting the Club’s facilities and M.I.C.E. offerings to potential clients.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to support client enquiries and event requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales leads, customer information and business development activities.
  • Assist in the preparation of sales reports, presentation materials and marketing collaterals.
  • Handle administrative duties supporting the BD team, such as scheduling appointments and managing correspondence.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned to support the BD team's operations and business goals.

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in any discipline; a background in Business, Marketing, Hospitality or Events is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in sales support, business development, hospitality or events would be preferred.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Organised, detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • A team player who is willing to learn and take on new responsibilities.
