Job Description

The successful candidate will support various student finance and administrative operations, including student billing, refunds, fee collection, financial assistance, loan and scholarship administration, and responding to student enquiries.

The role requires the candidate to work closely with internal departments, students and external organisations to ensure that transactions and enquiries are processed accurately, promptly and in accordance with established procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support student finance operations, including billing, refunds, fee collection and payment-related activities.
  • Administer financial assistance, scholarships, student loans and other student funding arrangements.
  • Liaise with students, internal departments and external organisations to resolve billing, payment and funding-related matters.
  • Respond to student and parent enquiries through various service channels, including telephone, online platforms and walk-in services.
  • Perform data updates, reconciliations and monitoring of outstanding items to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Maintain proper documentation and supporting records in accordance with established procedures and internal controls.
  • Identify issues and discrepancies, follow up with relevant parties and support their timely resolution.
  • Contribute to process improvements, system enhancements and other finance-related projects.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in finance, accounting or a related discipline. Candidates with relevant diploma qualification coupled with relevant experience will be considered.
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, student administration or a related field. Experience in student administration will be an advantage. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Meticulous, organised and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office applications and financial accounting systems.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
  • A service-oriented mindset and willingness to learn new processes and systems.

The position is only open to Singaporeans and Permanent Residents.
