The posting

About the role

The Senior Executive, Facilities & Operations is the dedicated owner of Cimelia's facilities function — responsible for the upkeep, vendor management, and operational readiness of the company's premises. The role leads the Facilities team and takes primary accountability for all site-related matters. In addition, the role provides operational support to the Manager, Operations, particularly in the execution of government and military (MINDEF) projects where on-the-ground coordination and site familiarity are key.

Key responsibilities

  • Take ownership of Cimelia's facilities— ensuring the premises are maintained in a clean, safe, and operationally ready condition at all times.
  • Plan, schedule, and oversee all maintenance, repair, and improvement works, including the ongoing renovation and upgrade projects, coordinating with contractors and internal stakeholders to meet timelines and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular facility walkthroughs and inspections to identify maintenance needs, housekeeping gaps, and defects; ensure corrective actions are followed through promptly.
  • Ensure all equipment, tools, and machinery across the site are properly stored, labelled, and accounted for — and that storage areas are organised, accessible, and compliant with company housekeeping standards.
  • Manage the issuance, return, and condition-tracking of operational tools and equipment; raise procurement requests for damaged, missing, or insufficient stock.
  • Manage material procurement for maintenance and improvement works, including sourcing, purchasing and collecting materials or supplies as required, while coordinating with vendors to ensure timely delivery and cost effectiveness.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all facilities-related vendors and contractors — engaging, onboarding, and managing service providers for maintenance, equipment servicing, renovation, and improvement works.
  • Conduct safety induction briefings for contractors and oversee on-site works, ensuring activities are carried out safely, within the agreed scope and schedule, and to the required quality standards.
  • Lead and supervise the Facilities team directly — Supervisor, Facilities and Specialist, Facilities — providing day-to-day direction, task prioritisation, and performance oversight.
  • Ensure all facilities activities comply with applicable regulations and company safe work procedures; identify risks and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly.

About you

  • Diploma or equivalent in Facilities Management, Engineering, Operations, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in facilities management, building maintenance, or operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Demonstrated experience in vendor and contractor management, including negotiation, onboarding, and performance monitoring.
  • Prior exposure to MINDEF, government, or security-sensitive project environments is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with WSH regulations and safe work practices in an industrial or operational setting.
  • Strong organisational skills with an eye for site orderliness, detail, and follow-through.
  • Possess a valid driving licence and be able to drive company cars and vans as required.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Proactive problem-solving and follow-through.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with maintenance tracking tools is a plus.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
