The posting

About The Keystone

The Keystone by Homestead runs student accommodation and serviced apartments across five properties in Singapore: Clarke Quay, HarbourFront, Holland Village, Lavender and Farrer Park. Our buildings include condominiums, black-and-white houses and shophouses, and our residents include university students and serviced apartment guests.

The role

You will keep our buildings safe, working and ready for the people who live in them. You own maintenance at the properties you are assigned to: taking in repair requests, sending the right vendor, checking the work, and making sure every room is ready on time for the next resident. It is a hands-on coordination role in a small team, and you will see the results of your work every day.

What you will do

Maintenance and repairs

  • Receive, prioritise and close maintenance requests from residents, guests and our Community team.
  • Call out and supervise vendors and our maintenance technician (plumbing, electrical, air-conditioning, pest control, locksmith), check the work, and sign it off before payment.
  • Plan and track preventive maintenance for M&E systems, lighting, air-conditioning, plumbing and lifts.
  • Inspect common areas and rooms regularly, and between stays, to catch problems early.
  • Get and compare quotations for non-routine work.
  • Manage service contracts for cleaning, security and pest control, and hold vendors to the agreed service levels.
  • Track electricity and water use and suggest ways to cut waste.

Housekeeping and room readiness

  • Oversee housekeeping standards and schedules at your assigned properties.
  • Make sure rooms are cleaned, repaired and ready before each move-in or check-in.

Safety and records

  • Keep fire safety in order (extinguishers, evacuation plans, drills) in line with SCDF requirements.
  • Respond to facilities emergencies such as leaks, power trips and lift faults, and write up incidents.
  • Keep inspection records, maintenance logs and checklists up to date.

What we are looking for

  • A Diploma in Facilities Management, Building Services, Engineering or a related field, or a Higher Nitec or Nitec in a relevant trade.
  • At least 1 year in facilities, building or property management. Experience in residential, condominium or hospitality buildings is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of building systems, and good judgement about when to call a specialist.
  • Familiarity with SCDF fire safety and BCA requirements.
  • Organised: you can keep many open jobs moving at once and close them out.
  • Clear, friendly communication in English with residents, colleagues and vendors.
  • Able to work rotating shifts, including weekends.
  • Comfortable with apps and spreadsheets.

What we offer

  • S$3,000 to S$3,500 per month.
  • 5 working days a week on rotating shifts. Shifts can fall on any day, including weekends, and you get 2 rest days a week. Longer hours are sometimes needed, for example for building emergencies.
  • Annual leave, sick leave and CPF contributions in line with Singapore law.
  • Real ownership: you are the go-to person for your buildings.
  • A growing operator, with room to take on more as the portfolio grows.

Location: You can be assigned to any of our five properties (Clarke Quay, HarbourFront, Holland Village, Lavender and Farrer Park), and assignments can change.

Start date: As soon as possible.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
