Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site installation, commissioning, decommissioning, repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of manufacturing automation equipment.
  • Diagnose equipment faults, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and resolve service issues.
  • Coordinate with customers and internal teams to manage service requests, equipment issues, and technical escalations in accordance with agreed service levels.
  • Support factory acceptance testing, installation preparation, and provide technical guidance or training to customers when required.
  • Maintain accurate service records and reports, while identifying opportunities for equipment upgrades, spare parts, and value-added services.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in operating, servicing, maintaining, or supporting automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Knowledge of electrical components and automation systems, including servo motors, robots, and related equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical drawings for installation and troubleshooting purposes.
  • Familiarity with software installation, PC configuration, and machine setup; experience with industrial automation systems is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel overseas on short notice for customer assignments, with good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
