The posting

About the role:

We are looking for a hands-on Equipment Service Engineer to support the installation, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and servicing of automation equipment and systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of automation systems and equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic components, controllers, and software issues
  • Analyze equipment failures and identify root causes for effective resolution
  • Provide onsite and remote technical support to customers within SLA timelines
  • Coordinate with internal teams and customers to resolve technical issues efficiently
  • Prepare timely and accurate service reports and documentation
  • Conduct onsite machine testing and ensure customer requirements are met

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Engineering or related field
  • 3 years experience in equipment servicing, automation systems, or machine maintenance
  • Able to read electrical/electronic circuits and machine log files
  • Familiar with robot software, PC software setup, troubleshooting and electrical components such as servo motors and robots
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to travel for overseas assignments on short notice
